If you make a funny post....

How would you rate that SG post I mentioned yesterday? I would rate it no lower than 5, but most likely a 4. A 3 is marginally possible, but unlikely. It all depends on what a 1 is. Certainly, the highest rating must be reserved for the funniest posts of all time. I'll have to think of the posts that made me laugh the most, but I haven't been here that long, so I'm short on material.

By the way, MG is funny, but as with all things, the appeal starts to wear off eventually. In other words, the initial posts of a certain style/theme will rate higher than subsequent posts in that same style.

To make things more transparent, you should formalize the rating system. Give a little explanation of what each rating number means. For example:

1 - This is reserved for the best posts of all time. You won't see these everyday, that's for sure. Look for most of jackangel's posts to be on this level.

5 - Anything at this level will receive a LOL, a LMAO, a ROFL, etc...

17 - Reserved for the lowest, the most unfunny shit, which barely deserves a ranking. You'll find the majority of Bullit's offerings down here.
