the-short-one said:i have a big garden - a little over 1/2 an acre this year. I'm in zone 8, so can put stuff in the ground starting now.
Yesterday I planted French Tarragon seedlings, Pak Choi, spinach & Leeks. Saturday I planted 200 Asparagus roots, 50 raspberrys, 9 grapes & 9 blueberry bushes. Today I'll put in apple trees and then drive stakes for all the fruit I planted.
When it gets a little warmer, I'll plant tomatoes, cukes, squash, basil, parsley, cilantro, eggplant, peppers, & amaranth. When it's nice and warm, I'll plant watermelon, pumkins, sunflowers, & zinnias.
