It is not anti-American to point out that two under age gymnasts out of several hundred athletes will not take away everything else from China.
It is not anti-American to point out that China is sitting on 1 trillion dollars in cash, largest in the world history, and America owes China several hundred billion dollars.
China has the money, and they are floudering it.
I would really, really love it if Chicago wins the bid for 2016, but I also know that Chicago can only afford to spend a fraction of what China spent on Beijing.

as for the chinese winning all the medals, i could care less. heres a partial clue, hope you can comprehend it:THEY BETTER WIN WHEN THEIR KIDS ARE TAKEN FROM THEIR FAMILIES AT THE AGE OF 3 AND DO NOTHING ELSE BUT TRAIN FOR 1 SPORT. im sure these people end up to be extrememly well rounded in life.

I hate it when the Olympics come to America. Does the Olympics break even financially for the host country anymore? Even if it does, I don't think it's worth the security risks.

China is ahead in the medal count and way ahead in gold.

They country is going through growing pains but it is just a bump in the road to a new empire. I just read GE just sold 3 billion dollars of alternative energy projects to the Chinese. They recognize their problems and they are fixing it. Just like the Japanese in the 1960's, they are going to alter that technology, make it better, and put GE out of business just like the Japs did to the US television, semiconductor, (and so on) industries.

Since when did the Japanese surpass the US in GDP and GE was a US corporation last time I checked, just sayin'.
