I know of a site where there are mods, however it is not moderated AT ALL.......you are on your own....period...

Theres more work for mods to do here in the aas forum because theres no source posting . With open source boards you have forums dedicated to sources so you avoid the subliminal not so subtle source pushing in the discussion forums.............. This is also a tough board to monitor because they get money from members so you have a lot of personalities to manage and keep happy in order to keep the money flowing .
As far as the chat forum goes the only moderating that needs to be done is when the flaming gets too much otherwise they should stay out of it imo. Of course mods are acutally human so they have personalities too.lol i know ive worked with plenty of people who once they get a title they completely change. Regular member to becoming a mod is no different.

This board needs some moderation as Stilleto said spammers etc. It just need not be over moderated which is a very fine line I for one wouldn't want the thankless job of C&C mod but I am greatful to the ones that do it.
