Okay, last summer I was "on". I'll be "on" next week. I respond better to lower volume. Especially when cutting. I've taken some time off. I'll be off for 5 days before I return. I ate like a champ the last 2 days. , well half of the last 2 days anyway. I'll be going back doing weights 3x a week (instead of 4)and cardio 3-4x a week, with one day off from the gym a week. I held my strength even before I started my summer cycle last year this way, so I'll stay with what works. I maintained my size last summer as well, and half done so for the most part this year as well, just strength is in the shitter. I usually work out early in the day, before work as I work nights for the mostr part, only doing 1-2 lunches a week (bartender at large). Cardio is done on an empty stomach after waking and if I do both cardio and weights on the same day, I seperate them by at least 4 hours. I've been stressed out a lot lately, a bit burnt out from working 6 days aweek as well, but the stressful times will pass at least. Not sure what went wrong. Maybe being in the gym 7 days aweek.
