if i grow at night - why eat all the protein during the day

You don't "grow at night". You grow when your body is at rest, and the purpose of having a constant stream of protein is to keep your muscles in a positive nitrogen balance.
 
you grow all the time, although at night, during stage 4 sleep, the most growth factors are released. ie hGH, IGF-1, etc. plus, when you are sleeping, your body isn't expending nearly as many calories as when you are awake so growth is undoubtedly higher.

it's easy to see that sleep is very improtant to growth recuperation.

why not wake yourself in the middle of the night and have a protein shake?
 
thanks for clearing up the misconception... i thought you could only grow while sleeping

so it is possible for my fat ass to grow at my desk.... NICE!!!

i, RELIGIOUSLY, have 35g of whey powder in a plastic bag by my bed.

when i awake in the middle of the night to take my usual piss, i make sure to mix it with water and chug down.

you DO grow at night, so give your body the tools it needs.

the piss of course. it mixes really well with eas precision vanilla.

30 minutes before bedtime is my last meal usually consisting of protein from egg whites, lean chicken breast, or tuna.

now, i sleep for 8-12 hours a night and thus the additional 35 grams.

your method is by far the best way to go if one were to sleep 6 or less hours a night.

my way, i get a meal at 11:30, sleep at midnight, 4-5 a.m my protien shake, then 4-5 hours later my usual protein shake for breakfast. it's a steady and balanced feeding of protein throughout a 8-10 hour sleep night.
