If I can't eat oatmeal..

I have this problem with my stomach. If I eat food like oatmeal or too much psyllium seed(they all form this "glue" that makes the GI lower). My stomach just gets to slow and I get problems with the stuff that will be in my stomach too long. If I eat food like rice tnothing is wrong, but I would like to eat something that is a bit slower in GI than rice. I also would like to blend my proteinpowder with something else than just milk, so would juice be good for this??

I don't understand the problem you are describing, it's sounds like a psychological aspect rather than physical, but I could be wrong. What is exactly the problem? have you seen the doctor about it? if so, what was the diagnosis?

Well the problem is this. I have a very slow stomach, the doc told me I it could be described like I'm born with a 50:year old stomach, metabolism slow, and also it takes longer for the food to get from my mouth to the other side, so to speak.

If I eat carbs like oatmeal this decreases the hole proceduer due to the glue that comes out from the fibers in the oatmeal. If I eat to much of It it takes for ever, even though I drink 6-8liters of water per day. I get gas, stomach pains in the left side of my stomach. Rice is fine, and every other carb that doesn't make this "glue" come out.
I therefor thought I could eat more carbs that wont make this "glue" like rice. But I do not like to have rice in my drinks as meal replacements so I need something else, slow but still good carbs. Therefor I thought of juice like apple, or orange juice. Medium to slow carbs..Other things I could eat for slow carbs instead of oatmeal? Ideas? advice??
 
A stomach of a 50y/o...can you get him to sign a statement to the exact problem that you have. This way you'll know for sure......(this type of problem is 1 in a 1000000 so I'm highly sceptical).

I would suggest trying some yams or sweet potatoes w/o the skins. Or, something like pasta could work.

Yams tend to help me "move "a bit. As does oatmeal and fiber one cereal.

Eating too much fat could slow down your gastric emptying. Even good fat will slow things down.
