If a person becomes Born Again

If you are born again and accept JESUS CHRIST as your SAVIOUR
what do you "feel" at the time of being born again?

Thanks

too bad this is not true for all who become "born again" - or at least it doesn't always last long.

I know several born-again Christians, and all of them have one thing in common - they all faced agonizing situations. An alcoholic, a manic depressive, a woman whose husband divorced her and child shunned her.

So to answer the question, I'm sure that born-again Christians feel a sense of relief over life circumstances that were spiraling out of control. In spite of all one's weaknesses, the Christian church teaches people that Christ will always be there to fill the voids and provide strength.

I think born-again Christians are similar to so-called "born-again virgins" - both have weaknesses coping with reality, feelings of guilt, and both are looking to absolve themselves of circumstances of which they are not proud.

lmao...what did I do?

I agree with Angel. You can offer forgiveness that you've denied, learn from the past and not live in it. You can never go back and start over, but you can start fresh. I doubt it's ever an easy experience or transition, but sometimes a fresh start, fresh perspective and new outlook are mandatory. Like the quote: "You cannot resolve problems using the same level of thinking that existed when the problems were created." -Albert Einstein
Sorta the same thing.

Nigga please. lol

Well here is the thing.

When people are born again they dont realize you have to continue to grow and read and study the word. yes there is a change but if you continue to surround yourself with the things you did prior to you being born again it wont lasdt long.

Does that mean this person was not born again? nope. it is like a person that fell off the wagon. you are always welcome back.

Good point. Lots of things have to change and become regular habit. You have to completely reprogram yourself and often change your friends and environment. He forgives you the slip, if you continue the climb...

They would also belittle it to Needto. hows it going bro?

Couldnt be better bro. I have a lil girl coming in about 23 weeks. We are getting excited.

Too bad more people who experience this don't make it a lifelong committment (to themselves and not try to force it on others). Nothing wrong with trying to better oneself. Too often I see these too many of these emotional conversions where people fall back into their old "sinful?" habits they were trying to escape before, then get born again, again...and it's a vicious circle.

Then I've also seen those who are true to JC thru and thru, yet are still hypocritical bastards. Some of the shadiest busienss people I've done business with are openly proud "christians" yet they'll cheat you blind if you let them. Christians seem to be overwhelmingly, notoriously CHEAP. They pay the lowest wages - several people I knew in a church had worked for a builder who is an elder in that church and he paid less than anyone else they said. This guy is rich as fuck though (guess it's because he paid so poorly).

I know someone who used to own a restaurant, and another person who owns (some kind of) store/shop in a coastal resort type town in OR. Various christian groups would always go on retreats there. They said that whenever the store owners knew these christian groups were in town (thousands of ppl), they would joke about just shutting down because the christians were so cheap. The restaurant owner said he knew the wait staff wouldn't get tips that week. Theother shop owner said even though there would be a large volume of people coming through, sales would be low.

Christian groups were not the only groups that would converge at this site. But, these people said that the non-christians would spend more and tip well.

I've known so many christian hypocrites. Personally though, I don't have any problem with god...it's his followers I'm leery of.

People and their emotions can be easily manipulated. A charismatic leader can work a group up into such a frenzy that they'll accept just about anything and think it's real. It's a flim-flam game.
