Ideas for a Tatoo...

  • Thread starter Thread starter The Shadow
  • Start date Start date
I was thinking of a pic of my grandfather with the caption:

"Heros never die."

get something meaningful that you will want for life
my next job is going to be a bodybuilder squatting,i plan to get it on my back

Celtic knotwork... band around your upper calf OR a belt across your lower back.

Top of your foot - cool location.

How visible do you want this to be?
A) Just a hint when I'm wearing shorts or a T-shirt
B) Only someone swapping bodily fluids would see
C) I'm a rock start millionaire - right across my forehead

Well - I've been told to keep it out of direct sunlight as much as possible as it will greatly speed the fading.

Thought of:

Outside of the calf
inside of the forearm
right along the ridge where the obliques and hipbone meet(not the grandfather idea though)

LOL @ Sassy!!

I have 13 overall (after 20+ trips and combining some - I lost my individual number).

If I come to work in long sleeves - you wouldn't know. Most of the time people miss the celtic "A" on my inside right forearm (about 1.5" x 1.0").

All the others are spread out - left upper arm band, right shoulder blade, left calf ban, left foot, right ankle - and so on.

My father's only advice (other than nothig repulsive - most of mine is tribal/celtic/lettering) - other than the inside forearm, which was my first - nothing visible. Don't cut yourself off professionally (and to an extent socially).

Keep it someplace you can see it (for newbies - keep them off your back - you'll forget about it).

The calf is cool - but hope you like some pain.
Hipbone will "tickle" too.

If I didn't (cyber) know you I might let you do that just for giggles, but... let me suggest Heroes Never Die.

dude, I have 3... 1 I designed myself (on my arm) tribal zodiac on my ankle, and a chi rho on my R shoulder blade. theres room for more but my life will dictate what those may be.

dont look outside for tats bro, theyre forever. find something that means something to you. remember, you have to live with them, not us.

Why would you want to cover up your hard earned muscle with ink? Fuck that.

And for god's sake, don't get an arm band, that just screams "I think I have big arms but they're not"

A good tatoo artist can actually incoperate (sp?) the lines of the muscle into the tat making them (the muscles) stand out more. You gotta go huge on the tatoo, nothing looks worse than a puny little tat on a large muscle group.
