Losing more than that will have you lose muscle mass and damage your metabolism.
Your calories are too low for a man of your weight BTW, that is also another good way to damage your metabolism.
The one thing that has been demonstrated is that this type of quick fix weight loss thing does not work.
95% of people put back on all the weight they lose AND MORE.
The choice is up to you.
I have heard a rule of thumb (not sure of the full truth of it though) that pertains to gaining and losing weight (although I think that weight training may alter this a bit)-weight comes off (and on) as 75% fat and 25% muscle, unless of course you do it slowly.
