I want a happy-go-lucky dog. What kind of breed should I look for?

I have a 7 yr. old English Bulldog, female. She loves everyone, sleeps in later than I do, doesn't require alot of exercise, and makes me smile whenever I look at her, she is so cute. She is the first dog i've owned and would consider the breed again in the future. Golden's are also sweet, there are so many great breeds. Just do some research to find what you like, than go to the local humane society and they may have the breed your looking for. Save a life.

my friend adopted a yellow lab at 1 month old. she's mixed, but we never found out with what? everyone thought she would get really big, but ended up at about 50lbs which isn't too bad. she's really smart too... goes potty on her own and comes back, responds when they call her, sits, lays, stays down, even jumps thru a hoop! really sweet dog...
