If your insinuating that the new charger hasn't been influenced by the '68 model, I have to disagree.

You will notice that this is stated in the article:

"The quad round taillamps pay homage to the ’68 Charger, but have a modern look that aligns them to other current Dodge products."

So you see that the 68 WAS influental in the new model charger!

Not me. . .I'm a big time GM fan but I think they really dropped the ball with this one. . .should have gone totally retro like the Stang or the Challenger. . .instead they melded old and new and came up with Frankenstein's Monster. . .that car is just plain fugly. . .it's as bad as the original rendition of the Avalanche. . .embarrassing.

I really like the style. I can see some of the 69' model in it.

Is something wrong with the new mustangs? I liked the retro styling on those when I first saw them. Do they suck? I like old Vettes, like '65-'69 lots.

I can see the 69 styling in that car, especially in the rear quarter panels - where the 1/4 window converges above the rear tire.

I give it an 8/10 so far


They should not put V6's in that car. You should not be able to own a slow camaro.

I really like the style. I can see some of the 69' model in it.

Oh, I can see the old car too. . .I just think the updated styling is completely over the top. . .it looks as bad a whale tail on a front wheel drive rice burner. Do I sound disappointed enough??

V8, 6L and 400HP.... Pretty good. Typical Muscle car specs (new M3 will get 400hp out of a 4L...). Only problem is: GM will once again make the same mistake of offering a car with similar spec to the C06 but cheaper.
