I had PS3 CoD 4 but sold it (it was good though). Ever since I built my new PC I've rediscovered how much better fps games are on them.
Kids are spoiled these days with games. I was happier than a lark playing Castlevania 4 and Mario Kart for SNES.
Not a big fan of teh online gaming either. Although I've played a half dozen or so deathmatches of UT3, actually won I think half of them (yes I even did a victory pose once )

Yes they are fun but you would be hard pressed to beat the quality and spead of PS3 on a computer... The processors are built specifically for video rendering and not old people stuff like our pc's... Just my 2c

The PS3 can't run Crysis though. However I do agree that MGS 4 is technically (and gameplay-wise) heads and shoulders above anything else on a console thus far. Love that series, I'd buy a console for it alone.
