Unfortunately, I have the sad news of informing you all that the Eagles have now ruined any semblance of enjoying football I have ever known. I am not retiring, my eagle green, but burying it. The loss to the Raiders was bad, got worse with the Buddy Ryan=poor playoff performance years and finally culminated in the Andy Reid=fired era.
I just cannot stay with a team that continues to disappoint myself and fans alike year after year. So what that you win a division...What does that get you? A bye, another week of waiting in agony for the other shoe to drop?
I was "repeat was" a diehard Eagles fan until today. I know all the diehards will come out and say that I should stop whining, but I don't care. Football is just not fun to watch anymore. I guess fantasy football is all that I have left.
I'm just sooooooooooooooooooooo damn frustrated and pis/sed off! I'm tired of the no account, no heart Eagles tanking year after year. No joy in winning, nothing but sorrow in losing again and again and again..... I want to stick with this, but I can't.
When your wife is unfaithful and continues to diss you in a marriage you divorce her. Well the same thing goes for teams as well. Maybe one day they'll win me back into their graces. In the meantime, I'll sit in massive pis/sivity at all the NFL. Maybe you'll hear from me again one day...maybe not.
