I think I scared someone away from weights

This morning I was finishing my workout doing bicep curls - really tearing it up, getting a great pump, all my veins popping out, face turning beet red, whole body glowing with sweat - it was delicious! Then this lady (soccer mom skinny-fat type in baggy shirt over lycra cycling shorts) comes in. She gets the 2.5 (yes two-point-five) dumbells and starts doing a combination squat with bicep curls, exhaling loudly through pursed lips on each rep. Every so often she gives me this "look" (I'm sure you all know the one). I'm not big by any means, but to her I must've looked like Ms Olympia - what with my 11.25" inch flexed biceps (9.25" unflexed) :D - real whoppers! I imagine she'll be wanting to drop her weights even more now. Are soup cans less than 2.5 lbs, I wonder?

It's amazing you posted this today... just this am I was doing bi's also, gal right next to me w/ the 5lbs, me w/ the 25lb- neither of us saying anything.... at the end of it she comes over & says, "Ok, I get it. If I want arms like that, I gotta lift heavier, right?"

Another convert! :D

But YOUR gal was lifting TWICE the amount my gal was :D

That's great she "saw the light" though!
 
Sounds like she was working on a technique to help her through her next bout of constipation. Should have suggested she add more fiber to her diet and skip the practice sessions at the gym.
