I think I am a target.....

First off I have never had a "Moving Traffic Violation" in my whole entire life...and I am not a terrible driver.

But I recently got a job teaching aerobics at a chain which is located in 3 smaller Wisconsin Cities. Well....I have gotten pulled over 5 times in the one City in the last 3 days... If I get pulled over again....I am going to sell the Jeep and get an alias!!

And from "My point of View" none of the reasons for pulling me over were ever very legitimate..I have gotten pulled over for passing illegally (2 cars at once), for expired tabs (they don't expire until the end of the month), I went out and had 2 drinks....which is well within my tolerance...ended up "walking the line"...speeding (once was at 6 am in a "School zone" which is 15, otherwise it is 25...I was going 27, and last time I checked school doesn't open until well after 8 am?!? and the second time was for 33 in a 25).

Luckily, I haven't gotten a ticket for any...

Ok....and last night when I got pulled over, it was a very routine stop, but at the end the policeman told me to watch my speed and have a good night and started to proceed back to his vehicle...then he trots back up to my jeep and asked me for my phone number.....OK, no big deal. But I thought it was a bit strange when he wrote it on his hand.
Wouldn't he be able to access all of my personal information when he originally did his search on me? Doesn't that sound just a bit strange?

Well, I figure if this keeps up, I will meet all of the policeman that work in this town by the end of next week!! Wish me luck!! I am turning into a paranoid driver...my neck is soon going to be sore from looking behind me to see where the cops are....:(

Have a great weekend!!

Let's see...

Great looking woman in dance leotards... hair blowing in the breeze in an open air jeep...

...and you are wondering why you are getting pulled over?

Well, you can take it as a compliment, but I would be careful of the attention. If it was the same cop, I would say that he is just interested in you, but since it is different ones I would be willing to bet that it involves some sort of game that they are playing.
Maybe they have a bet on who will go out with you first. If you know what I mean.

I think that these are the ones that give cops a bad reputation. :(

Good luck.

LOL. The guy actually wrote it on his hand? That is something that I used to do in middle school....
I remember one time I got pulled over when I was driving my motorcycle (about 3 years ago). I had only my permit, no registration, and no insurance. With a permit, you are not allowed to drive past midnight at all and are only allowed to ride when it is dark with someone who has a motorcycle license. Anyway, it was after midnight and I ran a stop sign. (It is a pain to stop on a bike for me and I did a rolling stop at the stop sign). So an officer pulled me over. I was a complete PIRATE. NO documents whatsoever. Then I guess he called another officer to come over. They told me that I should have gotten my bike towed, permit taken away, fines, court dates, etc. They LET ME GO!!! Actually, the two of them personally escorted me back to my house. That was my first and best experience with cops. I have had some bad experiences with them ,yet I am constantly reminded of how they saved my ass and saved me a lot of trouble and money that night.
BTW: I do have my license now, as well as registration and insurance! I learned my lesson.

Toga: you must be one hot momma if they keep pulling you over! Sounds to me like the word is out about you and the officers are taking their turns 'checking you out.' It's just too bad that they have to pull you over in order to do so!! Hey you could benefit from the situation! lol.

if i was a cop, i would pull you over too. can you blame them? i would pull you over everday. being super hot has its disadvantages too.:D

so are you going to go out with the oinker?

Thanks for the encouraging words guys and bunny!! At least I know that I am not the only one who thinks this is a bit strange......

And if what you are saying is right, Big4life....I truly wish they would find a new way to meet me.....

Maybe I should get a bumper sticker that says...."I work at Gold's" and save myself the hassle....lol

Haha....I don't think so!!

When I go out to have fun, I sometimes get a bit wild.......

I think I would feel like someone was watching over me......but if it would make them stop pulling me over, it just may be an option!! LOL......

But you know the handcuffs might be fun....j/k

Then they would lose the power that the badge and police car give them.

I don't have any respect for someone that abuses their power, and this sounds like what they are doing.

Like you said, if they want to meet you, go to the gym.

BTW. I don't blame them for wanting to meet you, just the way they are going about it.

How is getting a ticket for breaking the law not legitmate? The expired tags ticket is suspect. But if the laws of your state say you can't pass two cars, then count on the possibility of getting a ticket if you get caught doing it. Check the school zone signs ... if the sign doesn't specify a time, the law usually stipulates that the speed limit is enforced 24/7. Smacking a kid at 25 is a pretty serious accident. If the sign has times posted and the time you got nailed is is not within that period, fight the citation.

As for the cop who asked for your number ... that's unprofessional. You should have gotten his name/badge ID and filed a complaint.

Relative to the expired tag, it might be that in your state that the tag expiration date is not the end of the month in which your birthday falls, but any date after your actual birthday.
