I think I almost just had a heart attack

I just stuck myself with 100mg of fina and almost immediatly after i felt my chest get heavy, starting coughing uncontrollably, was sweating profusly, and my eyes and face were flushed bright red. What the hell happenned?? I don't think i hit a vein, but this is not the first time it happenned so I didn't freak out. I stuck myself in the quad, which I do ED and this is the second time this has happenned to me in like 6 weeks. Anyone have any clue?

Fina cough. We've all gotten that from fina at one time or another, and there are various thoeries about it. None of them are conclusively accurate, but in the end we all just decided to live with it. Doesn't seem to be harmful...just a tad unsettling.

ditto on the fina cough. has happend to me before. but did you say that you do quad shots everyday? or did you mean that your injecting ever day?

how long after the injection to your start coughing?

is it there to stay, or only a few minutes?

this a common occurance...

it is the effect of the solvents used in the fina kits.. which pass into blood stream and lungs...

just one more reason that the kits formulation needs to be re-evaluated..

the symptoms described are from the exposure of the lungs to the solvents.. this is not indicative of a heart attack.. though the raise in BP and violent lung reaction to the solvents might trigger a heart attack in one susceptible.

I guess i was being a bit dramatic using the heart attack reference, but when I looked in the mirror and saw that my face and eyes were beat red and I soaked my t-shirt i sweat so bad, I was freakin out. But the thing that sucks most is the cough.

well it has been a topic of discussion here lately and its easy to get caught up in the paranoia.

and yes the cough needs to be eliminated.. its just poor formulation..
