I saw Jay Cutler last weekend

I met Jay Cutler while working out in a Las Vegas Gold's this past weekend. The man is looking great! His shoulders and arms look phenomenal. He posed for a couple of pics with me and my friend, gave us some autographed pictures and his DVD and spoke with us for 30 minutes or so about lifting, diet, etc. He's a very down-to-earth fellow. I'll be rooting for him in the upcoming Mr. O.

Jay, by all accounts is a gentleman, so is Marcus Ruhl. Its the 3rd rate Pros who are the real jerks. Met a guy at a Powerlifting competition who had swapped over from Bodybuilding and he said his fellow competitors were Pricks.

SO what advic edid he give ya...........?

I'm glad you asked... He gave me the same advice that you'll hear here everyday. In a nutshell:

* Diet is #1 factor in gaining muscle
* Eat every 2.5 hours -- he said that he even sets his alarm clock to eat in the middle of the night
* Eat at least one beef meal per day
* Besides protein, don't skimp on the veggies -- veggies help you assimilate protein better
* Don't rely on protein powders to make your protein quota -- real food is much better
* If you don't eat, don't bother training -- you're spinning your wheels
* Sleep!
* 1 hour/day x 6 days/week is PLENTY of gym time

Awesome, I've always thought Jay was a class act. After watching "Ripped to shreds" I have so much respect. He works harder than any other pro. Sure he doesn't lift the heaviest weight but that is only 50% of bb'er's life. Diet, promotion, staying consistent, everything he does 100%.

Did it really need to be said?

That's the first time I've met someone of his caliber and I was blown away. He is massive.

Sounds pretty cool, he is from the Boston area. But honestly, all that other advice is great...but save it for the magazine ads because you won't get 1/2 that big without AS (its obvious I know).
