George has been MORE than fair. I can't believe he didn't get canned sooner. Truth is, he was ASKING FOR IT.

Strange thing is, I still don't know what his cause was: freedom of speech? He was told AD NAUSEUM that there is none here: it is George's party and what he says goes.

Well... I wouldn't go so far as to say there is NO freedom of speech... George has said himself that he encourages freedom of speech, he discourages the types of speech that are offensive (historically and realistically) or those which could bring legal trouble to the website.

Therefore, speech about the government would be allowed on just about any level, unless it was treasonist speech, such as the betrayal of the government during a time of war...

I think this is George's intention, but yes, in the STRICT definition of the word, it is his party, his rules... but no, I wouldn't say we have NO freedom of speech.

i don't see what the fuss is all about. he himself said he didn't care if he got banned. he was also one of those people who never understood why people got riled up over some chat board and how people could take take the internet so seriously. of course, if he comes back, then he was/is full of shit.
