I need your help....Im ashamed....addicted to drugs, now back in the gym

BUMP FOR G-FORCE. I ALSO AGREE. BRO YOU SHOULD BE PROUD THAT YOU ARE STRAIGHT AND GETTING ON WITH YOUR LIFE. START TRAINING WITHOUT AS FOR A WHILE AND GET YOUR HEAD ON STRAIGHT. GOOD LUCK AND IF YOU NEED HELP OR JUST TO VENT, EMAIL OR PM WORKS FINE.
 
You have already giving up on the drugs it looks like. And you made the step of coming back to elite to get you talking about training. Your all set. End of January is fine for you. Tomorrow is fine for you. But it really doesn't matter. As long as you are in the gym and staying away from the things that bring you down. I would suggest if you wanted to do anything now is to just hit a shot of test a week for the next 4-6 weeks----It wouldn't even be considered a cycle. I will just raise your test levels up a bit and give you a psychological boost while you work through your soreness and put together a diet. The pump you get won't hurt either-----Then after the 4-6 weeks hit a cycle worthwhile

A lot of us have been where you were. I smoked crystal daily for about two years, at the end of which I was unemployed, helpless, holed up paranoid with a gun in my apartment -- a total mess.

But I got out of it and pulled myself together. 12-step meetings helped a lot, especially when I found CMA (Crystal Meth Anonymous) which targeted my problem specifically.

Stay clean, eat right, get lots of rest, work out sensibly and patiently until your strength returns. If you relapse, realize your mistake, but don't beat yourself up so badly you end up going off the deep end.

Let training and (when your body's ready for it) AS be your "anti-drug".

well i think we all went through what you did at one point in our life.thank god for me it was from 17-19.i was doing anything i could get my hands on.form cocaine to extasy, shrooms,pot,acid,ghb,you name ive done it for two years without a break.i finally realized my life was going downhill and if i ddint stop i would either be dead or in jail.
what i did was drop all the current friends i had and put my compulsive personality in the gym.
i was basically working , working out and going to sleep for a long time.its very hard when you have an addictive personality like me and you.
once i start something its hard fro me to quit, so i made a choice to never do recreational drugs again.
now at 24 i own my own business, i dont drink or smoke, and have agirlfirend who supports my bodybuilding.
so give it some time and things can only get better.you hit the bottom so just look foward to life changing for the better, and keep focused

Glad to here you are rebounding good....

start slow dont over do it start with some cardio and get your body used to the pounding heart beats and stomach aches

after about a month i would start going heavy and getting down to business..

oh yea i used to be DEEP in the cocaine game but it got old very quick...you havent done anything new.....But now youve changed so time to start over GOOD LUCK

I know all about where you are man, and I'm just recovering myself from a similar situation. I think it's as simple as this tho, if you can be perfectly strict on your diet, you are good to go and should hit the cycle ASAP.

Just make sure you have EVERYTHING and that NOTHING can go wrong. A bad cycle is the last thing you need to complicate all your other problems, but once you are 100% confident you have all the right gear, have enough in you to hit 3-4 hard workouts a week, and have the discipline to eat right each and every day, hit a fairly hard cycle and get it all back. Glad to see you made it out of it, which is more than a lot of people can say. But you realize what it did to you and know what it feels like to be down there. You never want that feeling again. And you'll make sure it doesn't happen again. Good luck.

You guys never seem to amaze me. :)

Yeah i know that i got my ass caught in a rut. I mean a big one. It got to be where it was so much easier to go buy an 8 ball of coke and get fucked up, then go to the gym and workout. Sooner or later i was doing it a couple times a week, and then every other day, and then it led up to every day. That lasted for about 56 days straight, until my parents finally figured out what was going on. I was not only doing hard drugs, (coke, water, X, meth, ect.), but i was selling them also. My house, life, reputation had gone from being on the top of the world, to being watched by the local authorities, and almost getting my ass in serious trouble. Hell, i got pulled over one day, didnt have anything on me, and guess who it was? The state district attorney, and two undercover cops! I was flipping out guys! He handed me his card and told me to get my father to call him. Since that day i have tried to make my life better. It literally scared the shit out of me, because if anyone can put you under the jail, then the DA is one of those people.

But after putting my body through all that shit, and my family, friends, ect, i just couldnt take it anymore. I knew that if i didnt do anything soon, i would end up dead or in jail. Hell i ran my brand new BMW 330 off the road going about 100-105. I passed out. Totalled a $42,000 car with $37,000 in damage. Walked away without a scratch on my body. My head even busted out my side window, but i had a hat on, so that saved me i guess. Either way you look, i was lucky to be alive.

So, im going to put all of your advice together and see what i can come up with. I may start training lightly, along with some cardio for a couple of weeks and get my body accustomed to what it was used to, and then add a small cycle of Test only for about 6 weeks. Stop, and then train natural for a month, then hit a small yet effective bulk cycle.

I know that im a good person and if i put my mind to anything, that i can accomplish my goals. You guys have really helped me out a lot. I thank you all for this. It really means a lot to me that you all are so caring like this.
