I NEED YOUR HELP! How can I break a car lease?

My sister has a 36 month car lease and having problems w/ the car and the warranty is up. How can she break this lease? Thanx

usually they have you sign a lot of shit exactly for this reason - it is hard to back out of them. my friends have signed them off to other people before, but even that can be a hassle.
the lease is a contract, so it is hard to get out of it unfortunately.

You can't get out of a car lease, unless you pay all the payments upfront. They unfortunately have your sister locked-in....they are ironclad.

my buddy had the same prob with his leased car...funny thing is that it went missing one night and a few weeks later they found it in an canal..go figure.

Car leases, for the average person, are not a good deal. As a former accountant, I can tell you that leases are good for individuals only if they are financiall well-off, want a new car every 2 or 3 years, do not know how to work on cars, and do not put on a lot of mileage.

I agree with Ryan (damn! twice in one day) ... The leases are pretty much ironclad. How long has she had the car and how much longer is the contract? How is she doing on the mileage? What's the mechanical difficulty?
