I need some new friends!

Ever since I got out of college and people left and what not Ive got like 1 friend I go out with down here. Best friend is still in school and away, lost contact with other people, and well a lot of my old friends aren't in this state anymore. It fucking sucks I want to go out tnight I don't wanna be stuck here but if I can't get a hold of my buddy it looks like Ill be doing just that. My job, well I work with my uncle everyday helping him deliver kegs, and when I don't its all old guys, I got no social outlet to meet people and what not. SUre I can meet girls, but thats like date shit lol I want people to hang out with again this blows grrrr

fuck at least Id be married and someone there to talk to and other things. fuck even if its fighting lol I am getting super antsy sitting here alone

going through some of that, I ditched basically all of my firends because my life went in a different directio nand the yall stayed the same, no ambition for life. Luckily I live with my two brothers so I atleast have them to talk to, hang out and watch games with.

Still, it's hard to adjust from being a social juggernaut (I was, relaly) to a very solitary person.

exactly dude Im picky about who I associate with, a lot of my old good friends just totally went in that opposite dircetion, hell some not bad just they are boring and don't ever do anything. I like going out having fun, meeting girls, etc etc but I don't hang out with skeezballs, "players" braggarts, I dunno I only associate with stand up people and thats hard to find in anyone, and reliable
 
Try picking up a class or two at the local University, strive towards a passion and you will run into others with the same interests. Get your scuba certification, pilots liscense, captians liscense. You have to be active in order to acquaint.
 
man i just graduated college no more school just yet, maybe law school if I can formulate a plan of action to do it (money and all that)

my job keeps me way too busy during the week to do anything

I did this during summers throughout college, Ive had interviews, but it all boils down to the fact I hava no professional experiance, just part time jobs while in school. Fucking gay I have a second interview with a company on monday though and that looks promisiing, we will see
 
It will come together, you seem to be a level headed good guy, people are attracted to that. I've had to distance myself form several of my close friends b/c they were too focused on partying, while my other friends are cohabitating w/ sig others, seeing how I just broke up with my girlfriend of 3 years, I'm kinda out of the loop. I don't get the calls for the 'couple's weekends', or dinner's, sucks but you gotta do what you gotta do. Life goes on and things are constantly evolving. Just remember, patience is a virtue.

I have 0 friends. The only ones I would meet where women. I would hang out with them as a friend, then get drunk and have sex with them. I dropped my guy friends about 3 years ago because they were losers. I still haven't made any new friends. I go to school too. At work I don't like anyone. WHo knows, maybe one day I will make a friend. Please.......
 
first off,good luck on the job monday bro.

second-I know the feelings,I got done school,now Ive got my career thing going,and im looking to settle down and relax a little,while all my buddies are interested in doing is chasing little girl at the bars still,and the rest are so wrapped up in their girlfriends they cant bare to pull themselves away for a evening here or there to hang out with the guys who have had their backs when girls broke their hearts or some idiot wanted to fight them, but you can sure as shit bet if the girl leaves or some guy wants to fight you will get a call.

I just moved beyond that,have about 1 friend I hang with sometimes,other then that man I just chill on here,it sucks but thats life I suppose.

Well what pisses me off are my attached friends that I never see by themselves. It's not like Hey, I'd love to hang out with J tonight, it's more like, Do I feel like hanging out with J and Brooke and watching them get drunk then getting into a big fight............no. A lot of them nned to learn how to socialize w/out the other person there. Many of my friends are two totaly different people when they are around just me and when there gf/wife is with them. Truly sad if you ask me and I predict those relationships to be destined for disaster.

Yea people who are different around their friends and their SO will never last. One of my best friends is like that even though he is getting a little better. At least now when they are both over, he acts the same. He still doesn't do much without her though.

All my good friends are pretty far away though so it's just me and the wife. Some acquaintances come over and hang out sometimes but I wouldn't call them friends.

Also, what really is there to do at night? If you have to work or go to school the next day, drinking is out of the equation. So, what else is there really to do? Go see a movie? too much money for such a short amount of time. Play pool? Would end up getting drunk so that's out. Go to a bar or club sober? what for? What I'm getting at is what exactly are you looking to do?
 
Jesus guys, you want more friends, make it happen. Host some poker game once a week and a taco night on Tuesday. You'll have more friends that youll know what to deal with

Try after 5 kids! Your pimp hand shrivels up, you can't remember how to play cards, and you have to ask the wife if you can borrow your nuts so you can go to the occasional dinner out with your companys product rep. :rolleyes:
