ESPN has been showing the arm wrestling championships for days......

One guy gave the other guy weird looks, screamed in his face, did "bug eyes," made kissing sounds, etc.... See if it's being replayed...crazy stuff...

you prolly know this but if your arm wrestling somoene that you need techniques for, they are most likely too strong and your risking injury.
thats why even if i know i can win, i only armwrestle people who are super tiny and weak so i dont risk hurting myself.

but so the trick is to try and wrap ur arm around and get in a position that u can partually pull towards u using ur bicep to assist you as well as ur internal rotators.

also it helps if you flex your entire body, make a funny constipated face and move your head forward and to the side as you move your oponents arm.

Don't jerk off prior to the competition. Save the arm strength there Cornbrolio.

Kick them in the nuts.
that reminds me of that movie (cant think of the name right now)

where that HUGE dude is arm wrestling someone and its taking forever and noone is making any progress, but one of his buddies gets in a fight at the bar, so the huge dude punches the guy hes arm wrestling in the face, takes all the money and goes and helps throw down with his friend

get a weight stack in your Semi-truck so you can do bicep exercises as you travel
jackangle can proly explain it better

fuckers one and all

and whomever said that learning technique means that someone is stronger is ridiculous...thats like saying tyo enter a PL comp without ever practicing the lifts

put your toupee on backwards before the meet, it will psyche you up

Does Carrot Top star in that movie?

LMAO @ toupee

this guy at works is like

"THe guys will bet 100 for me to arm wrestle you...they think I can take you"

My response:

"What do YOU think?"

3 second pause...

"I think I might can."

"What do you weigh"

I said.."Tell you what...come down to my weightclass....get the money to a 500 dollar pool....donated to charity and you are on"

reread my post.

i said TOO strong. in otherwords- that means if you cant cream them without TRYING or knowing propper technique, then they are most likely strong enoguh to possibly cause you injury.

since you like the PL comp analagy.- its like entering a pl compition being super strong and jacked, and going against people who can max deadlift 135x1, and lets say you max 500x1, but you go and do 140x1- you can do it with shitty form and (mostlikely)not risk hurting urself

Im a LOT leaner...he would most likely kill me as he has me by 40 pounds right now

I want to work on initial, explosive push

yeah try and beat him on the buzzer, or just try and push over the hump to where your strongest and stay static, makign him use up all his unendurant fattass strength to try and get you over...that way your not using energy to push, but just holding ur position which requires alot less effort...then once he starts to weaken you got him and can finish him off- thats what i do

ok - radar = the only non fucker

Heyyyy!! I think my suggestion was a good one.....they explain everything in detail....and the guys really do make weird faces, etc...

Tip #1: don't arm wrestle

I saw a guy I knew from high school get his humerous(sp?) splintered into multiple pieces. He was arm wrestling his weight lifting buddy in a bar, had beaten the guy once already that night. They were in a stale mate for 30 sec or so, and then the bone just gave out. I cant remember the details of what it took to put it back together, but it was not pretty> he has a scar running from his shoulder to his elbow where they went in to put the screws, titanium wrapping etc to hold that fucker together.

I will never arm wrestle again after seeing that Btw, this dude was jacked, not some scrawny lightweight.

SEE??

Great info....

ok tell me....

his arms are longer than mine......is there a rule that sets the angle of the forearm to the upper arm??

Can I ask that he pull his upper arm back so that our hands are the same height?

ask him to pull it back otherwise there is no chance for you...the more of an angle ur arm is at the stronger you are at the armwrestling. so if someone is of equal "lifting strength" but one guys arm is longer, he will most likely win. but if this guy is weaker than you, and can beat you because of his length, the more u move ur elbow back (sloping ur arm causing a greater angle between ur forarm and upper arm) the more exponentially stronger u will be. (from my experience)

this is what i was refering to- dont arm wrestle someone unless they are a fucking shrimp and there are no risks

FWIW, and this is NOT professional advice...

My best friend and I used to do a LOT of armwrestling when we were younger, and there's 3 main things I learned from those days:

1) Psychological advantage is VERY important. Get inside their head and f*ck with them. Rattle their cage!

2) Speed is the next most important thing. I've beaten MUCH bigger & stronger people just by speed...a few I never even felt take a strain against me before they went down.

3) NEVER let your opponent get you in a position where your wrist is bent backwards. Takes away all your forearm strength and it hurts like hell.

Again, VERY amateur advice, but it worked (sometimes lol) for me.

Honestly..Im not realy concerned with getting hurt...Im really strong in general...just wanted tips that could make the deal a winner for me

NO WAY I would try him at 250
