I need computer/digi cam help!

The problem is that my cd drives don´t work and I can´t install digi cam software. So how the heck I can transfer pics from the cam to pc?

Go to start.
Control panel.
Printers and other hardware.
Scanners and Cameras.
Then in the upper left corner, add an imaginging device.
This will start the install wizard.
Scroll through and see if your camera is listed.
Select it and bingo.

It detect mine for a while but then one day it wouldn't and I had to install the software for the camera.

the disk wont read or the drive doesnt work ... if its the drive lets try fixing the drive

The camera "should" mount as a removable disk if you connect it using the supplied cable. Otherwise you might need a card reader to transfer files. They are very cheap but finicky. I'm not crazy about mine.

You can't download the software from the manufactures website to install it? No cd drive required...

Otherwise you could pick up a cheap card reader for $10 that could do the trick.

See if there is a new drive under my computer when you plug the camera in. It will probably be listed as a removable disk.

Problem solved. My computer support person forgot to told me that all USB ports don´t work and of course I only tried those ones
