Sorry If I am repeating myself,

My beverly consultant is telling me I am wasting my protein, because I am consuming TOO MUCH OF IT ? huh ???? I mean she is a pro, knows what she is talking about, I hope, and she has won many figure titles. she tells me I should eat my body weight in protein, and not to go over my body weight in consuming too much protein, she said I am eating entirely too much protein, and the excess is going to do nothing for my body.

So I am 130 lbs, I normally eat btwn. 150-170 gr. a day, she told me I should only be eating 130-140 the 140 being the highest amount I should eat ?

I'm so confused !!!! could my 150-170 gr. a day really be too much ?

She also said I should be eating only 1/2 of my body weight in carbs, so my carbs per day should total 65 grams.


What do you all think ? Should I try it ? would you ?

I take in between 160-190 a day depending on if I am low carb or high carb. She wants you to stay at 65g carb everyday? No rotation? And your still training?

I don't know much about Beverly... read a little but not nearly enough to comment on the program. I just know its not cut out for me. I at one time stayed low carb and I didnt' see any progress.. now I'm doing a carb cycle and seeing great progress in fat loss and have more energy to train.

I love Elane Goodlad.. Both her and Jenny Lynn will be at The show I am doing in July.

The question quoted in my post above.

With 140g protein, 65g carbs you are looking at approx 800 calories a day. How much fat are they recommending? What is the overall daily caloric intake?
 
I think its rather silly to argue over a 10 g diff in protein consumption.

But just for context, can you post up an example of a daily meal plan on this diet?

The meal plan I was given is as follows:

1- 3 egg whites, 1 whole, 1/3 cup oats
2- 20 gram. protein shake
3- 5oz. chicken, 1/2 cup rice, 1 cup green beans
4-40 gram. protein shake
5-5oz. chicken, 2 cups spinach
