You do not fall under the UCMJ (Military Law) so they couldn't do anything about it. I was in the AF as a cop for 4 years, I can tell you one thing, if they like your friend he will never be asked about it, if they don't they may ask or try to pressure him.
You are a civilian, the military couldn't give a fuck about you.
I caught a guy drunk driver on base, so smashed he didn't even know what state he was in. (My base was 40 minutes from the border Florida/Alabama)
I detained him, gave him all the DD tests, he failed miserably. We called the Sherriffs office to pick him up and formally charge him. They said they where to busy with non-military issues, give him a cup of coffee and call him a cab! This is one instance, it happened many times on many issues.
Civilian/Military Law Enforcement didn't work together very often on my base.
It doesn't sound to me that this is a big enough issue for them to even take notice of you.
NYCDefender is also right on, if you don't give them anything to investigate(statements) the case is closed!
