cujo, mcdonalds chicken mcnuggets gosh i love that era

I don't love the 80s. It was too rainbow-y. But it's good to reminisce once in a while. But I did like the music. and bugle boy jeans

the 80's sucked. bad clothes, bad music, bad hair, androgeny.

the only redeeming things in the 80's were pac-man, NES, flight of the navigator, short circuit, gi-joe, he-man.

yeah, that's pretty much it.

LOL OMG OMG OMG OMG do u guys remember V the mini series bout the aliens?????????
gawd i loved Marc singer

the 80s were the most FUN and EXCITING decade every in America's history. Look at all the crazy ass shit we were doing. No one had a worry about ANYTHING.

Unfortunately -- that decade will probably NEVER come back. From now on, it's a sea of war, terror, unemployment, illegal immgiration, rising crime, deficits, outsourcing, you name it. All that shit aint' going anywhere ANYTIME soon.

So let's just be content and warm ourselves by reliving it as much as we can. I love vh1 and nick at night. I can't stand today's annoying, pompous, over the top, no basis in entertaining, just marketing, type tv programming.

i was sooooo addicted to V the mini series, i used to have the friggin dvd....but dont have it now:(
another great mini series of 83 was "the thorn birds"

"We can dance if we want to..."

bands today need to stop their "life fucking sucks! jump up and down!" annoying rehashed over and over crap.

and the music industry wonders why no one is buying cds anymore. Creativity and talent is out the door. Everyone sounds the same now. Same sound, differeint packaging. And on top of that -- they throw all these shitty throw-away bands on the same tour! The gall of them!

Anyone remember when music videos were campy yet FUN? Not, as in today's age, a plethora of boring, plain vanilla, over the top, window dressing over crappy music and band members who don't even want to be in it, surreal episodes disguised as "artistic creations".

the passing of the 80s left us with many seemingly unanswerable questions which go right to the mysterious heart of human experience.

for example: how is it that Members Only jackets were actually cool at one point?

unpossible.

I loved 80's movies......music was ok. 90's can suck me, 2K aint much better
