I love getting tattoos, although i am not gonna be covered in them, not my style.

But i got my first one 9 years ago and im getting my 10th one soon, just finishing the design now!!

Just thought i would share before i finish up here and head down the pub for a couple of beers.

MMMMMMMMM BEERS!!! MMMMMMMMMMM

Post the design... I'll tell you how gay it is... for free!

Dude's I'm thinkin bout gettin a tattoo myself on my privates.
It will say: " My other dick is black"

Personally, I don't care for tats...

It says something more than wearing a mullet would.
What that something is, I'm not sure..

No disrespect intended, just a comment from someone that knows all..

I love Tatoo's! I have a tiny one of my ankle. I am thinking of getting one on the small of my back, but I'm not sure yet.

I love when men get them around the top of thier arms! If they have nice toned arms, it's sooooooooo hot! I tried to get my husband to get one but he doesn't believe in them.

You have a tattoo of your ankle? Weird! Where is it? I've been thinking of getting one of my wrist, but I just don't know where I'd put it!

I always thought itd be cool to have one on the inside of my wrist.

Imnotdutch after reading that--------->:argue:

What exactly are you trying to say? I have never disputed that God might exist........I just dont like dumbasses who use religion t address questions better ansered by science.

It's on the outside of my right ankle. I got it like 4+ years ago. And no, those are not my husbands initials, they are mine.

It would take a dumbass to ignore scientific and objective observations in favour of folklore.

science means nothing when it comes to the origin of man. so it is just as much of religion as the next, or folklore as you put it.

So science can't put up an argument for evolution? I would accept that science can not say anything about what preceded the Big Bang........but after that science has a lot to say.

If you really want to get back to this I'll dig up the last thread where you point blank refused to address the questions I asked of you. I do believe that several people accused you of punking out........otherwise stop trying to ruin this thread.

point blank refused ? that's a good one, i like that AHAHAHAH sure, post up the question buddy, if you would just cut and paste the question in a new thread so we can hit this topic...i'm interested to see what this question is that I "point blank refused to address" :D

and yes, science or anyone else can make an argument on this topic, doesn't mean jack though because it takes faith to believe any and all of it, therfore making it just another religion of some sort.

be back from the gym in an hour or 2

The old and tired faith argument huh.........you dont need faith when objective observations and logic are used. There is nothing logical about believing in something that you cant prove exists........or a book which is well just a book!!

I'll find the thread later.

here we see a chicken embryo with what looks like a 3rd leg, a clear sign of evolution :lmao:

and i could say your using the tired old evolution argument huh? you amuse, you really do.

;)

There is a big difference between a scientific 'fact' or hypothesis and a religious belief.

Science uses reason and observation to arrive at and/or analyze hypotheses and scientific 'facts'. In classical physics, observations have been made at a basic level that can be agreed upon by everyone (when you drop a coin, you can measure it's acceleration). The equivalent of formal logic and more complicated observations has been used to form consistent sets of hypotheses and/or scientific 'facts' about our universe. These hypotheses and 'facts' have made even more complicated methods of observation possible (particle accelerators, for example). Hypotheses and scientific 'facts' are subjected to relatively open criticism. One doesn't need to believe or disbelieve anything to arrive at hypotheses or scientific 'facts'.

So, science is defined by reason, logic, consistency and a distinct process called the 'scientific process'. Religion, for the most part, lacks these things and relies on faith. Faith is belief without reason. If you want religious ideas presented in school, support it openly. But don't equate science with religion, because religion is by definition starkly different from science.

It written in a language called ' Sanskrit ' its a very very old language which is no longer spoken by anyone actively.

Dayum. Old school.

I need to polish up my history ... but did the people(s) who used Sanskrit use a Crucifix as a sign of religious faith?

If memory serves me correctly, the language was used before Christ. I could be wrong though.

your spot on the money!

yes it was around before christ, i dare say it was most likely used during and after his time also but im not sure.

but was definatly used before him.

no i don't believe they had any crosses that i think came about after jesus had gone. but i'ver personalised the idea and brought it into modern times if you like.

good point, that is true.

i was also thinking of changing the cross and putting in two hands together, as in when your praying.

not sure though? any ideas?

I'd keep the cross.........it is the most universally recognised symbol of your faith. It also makes reference to what is probably the biggest moment in the history of your religion and the extremity of the sacrifice that was mde. It symbolises what you believe in better than the hands IMO. The writing symbolises your appreciation of the history of it all.........all sounds good to me.

Imnotdutch has a good point. I think it would be cool if you just had the writing. The written Sanskrit is pretty damn cool looking, and would definitely envoke some curiosity from others.

All this tattoo talk has me thinking about getting something. Trouble is ... I don't know if I have anything that truly means a lot to me that I'd want on my forever.

good points guys, yea the writing does look good. i have my mane in sanskrit on my upper back between my shoulder blades.
