Holy christ sounds like a lot of homeless or faux homeless in LA. I give most of the time unless they are falling down drunk in my face then hell no giving them money doesn't help. There is this native artist that sets up shop close to Yorkville ritzy area of TO he is an amazing artist I always give to him might buy some of his work sometime it is lovely. I think he lives in a shelter doesn't look super run down but still not living high on the hog by any means.
