I know it was only the Rams 1st preseason game....

but did their D look awful or what. The Dolphins bland ass offense did what they pleased. Archuleta needs a good 20lbs. He looked very thin...

They have a bunch of rookies and newcomers, so they will need time to mesh and gain experience. Their offense may have to carry them the first have of the season, but they should improve steadily throughout the year. They sure as hell can't be any worse than last year...

They better hope so or their gonna have to score 40pts a game.... Archuleta looks way to small to be a NFL safety...

Yeah, he didn't look very tall. He has some freaky physical skills, though, I think he benched somewhere close to 500 and squatted around 600...

Candidate looked quick and evasive to me out there. That guy is someone that will be very successful in the NFL. Fast, Fast, Fast...

Didnt candidate leave the game injured?? or did i read that wrong on the ESPN sports ticker last night?

I thought Canidate had some good speed and quickness coming out of Arizona. Unfortunately, he won't see too much playing time unless Faulk goes down.

Damione Lewis looked pretty good, had 2 sacks. Trung Canidate is supposively the fastest man in the NFL. He went out of the game with an injury i believe in the third quarter. They have a lot of work to do on defense still.

Candidate was a good back in college, too small for the NFL. Or should I say, too frail. He missed all of last season with injuries.
Archalletta is learning a new position. He played outside backer at ASU last year- and was Pac10 defensive player of the year. He will be a stud. He will be as good as Darren Woodson- another Sun Devil backer who converted to SS in the NFL.

candidate fucked up his mcl... he's gone for a while...

rams defense looked bad, but the sad thing is miami's offense didnt really look "good" for the most part... i did like travis minor he had some shiftiness at times.

their full back made the td run, not conrad the other guy... good effort on his part...

i have been rethinking the rams.. i dont think their d can hold up to anyone. the saints will win the west IF and ONLY IF, ricky is healthy... he will go through that defense like johnny o and his tricks.

I don't know why, but I'm still not sold on Ricky Williams yet. I baiscally see a guy who IF he can stay healthy, can run for about 1400-1500 yds, but only average about 4.0 yds a pop. Kind of sounds like Eddie George...

The Rams have improved themselves on defense this year. They got one of the best 3 cornerbacks in the game over the last 10 years in Aeneas Williams.

hey thick... whats wrong with eddie g? if i got a back who can control the clock and not put the ball on the ground.. pick up positive yards on 1st and 2nd down... i like my offense... it sets up some play action and will make you bring that 8th man up... if the saints have a version of eddie george they should thank the football gods...

oh, by the way... i hate he hate me

first time dennis miller made me smile during his MNF stay...

it did seem like al was a little put off about talking about the xfl....

Ricky was on pace for 1600yd rushing and 700 yds recieving.

Last year he faced 9 and 10 man fronts every game and still controlled shit on the ground...

Yeah but if the Titans can muster any type of passing game he'll have more than 4.0 yds. per carry.

Eddie George is a solid consistant, punishing runner. He has actually lasted a lot longer than most big backs do. Most of your 240 pounders last a couple of years, then fade away. Eddie George is solid, but unspectacular. He's not a homerun threat. I like the 210-220 lb guy with lots of moves who can go the distance and avoid taking alot of hits. I like runners in the Barry Sanders, Emmit Smith, Marshall Faulk, Thurman Thomas mold. As far as averaging 4.0 yds per carry, that is a solid average in the NFL. Of course, I was a huge Barry Sanders fan and got to used to watching him log over 5 yards a pop and routinely break 60 yarders, behind some of the worst offensive lines I've seen Unfortunately for Ricky Williams, he will always be compared to Edgerrin James, who is outdistancing him by a long shot so far.

boy did archuletta dissapoint....... no excuses when you're a 1st rounder. rob konrad out ran him, and he's a FB. i'll put my money on denver or TB-

Aeneas Williams is definitely a stud, I didn't know he was a Ram now. He will make an instant impact. He can shut down ANY receiver, to include Randy Moss
