I kidnapped a kitten....

ok so these neighbors of mine who are losers have two kittens. They let these poor babies run wild day and night. They are either going to be hit by a car or starve or freeze (when it gets colder).
They never let them in the house. One of the kittens came to my door in the middle of the night, so I took her in. I have not let her out since last Friday.
Do I keep her (find her a good home) or give her back??!
I want to keep her but they will obviously see I have her!!!
What would u guys do?

Yeah I called Animal Rescue and they are coming to vaccinate the kitten and said they will find it a home, but was just wondering if it was messed up that I tool the liberty to "Catnap" it!

Believe it or not, some cats do not release allergic dander. My boyfriend is allergic but he can handle my other cats.

I have gone over to talk to them when these kittens have come to my house for food b4. I told them they need to keep these kittens in, have them fixed and or put at least a collar on them.
A little background. They are bad ass drug dealers. They always have these losers in and out of their house. I have other cats that go out in their yard and I am concerned if I approach with agression they may try to hurt my cats.
If I did not have cats to worry about, I would have done something pretty agressive already. These peeps don't scare me, but the fact that they would hurt my cats, does!
Animal control will do nothing, but the animal rights groups may ;-)

i find that stuff bullshit. rodents have a completely different smell from cats and dogs. even a different temperature. i've been around large breed snakes most of my life and never had a case of unwanted predation. my Retic would only eats rats, would even sniff a rabbit. and would hiss if my cats or dogs went near him.

I agree I am sure they could care less, but if they see I have it, they may want to be mean about it and come over and ask me to give them the cat back.

Taking in strays is a good thing I've had too many cats to count from taking in all the strays.
And strays (not ferile cats) but in general, strays tend to be the best cats because they appreciate the love.

the people above me had a cat that they let outside in the winter, the damn cat would sit at my door and meow.Often he would scratch at my door because he wanted in. I felt so bad.
Well my down stairs neighbor took him home, where he has gained weight now and is happy! I did not tell upstairs and they seem not to be too concerned....To think they still have 2 other cats up there.
