just feeling like an anxiety attack was mounting.....kept getting those pin pokes in my limbs and feeling tight in my chest. a few of the members here were having bad days, and can really drain you mentally......

after that i stopped taking them

it took me a fucking hour or more to write out a couple of incident reports. i get interupted every other word, causing me to lose my train of thought. and you have to fill out IR's for everymutherfuckingthing they do. there are so many different classes and sub-classes of abuse and neglect. typically, if you start writing them, you never stop. then i have to get 10 fucking phone calls the next day wanting me to repeat myself 10 times over what i had just faxed them. aye carumba....

I dont like those mind/mood altering meds. Lumberg takes them occasionally at night for sleepytime. I once took a remeron and I was in a fucking deep ass fog for a good 24 hours straight. nasty feeling that was.

I have lorazepam(atvian) fucking good shit,I usually take them for sleep as I dont get anxiety attacks often at all anymore,but when I do its three or four days of living hell if I dont have these little beauties,I dont even leave my room

i have this little old man who sits right next to me the whole day and repeats himself continously. also, he's a shock treatment recipient, so his memory is fucked. the only 2 names he can remember is mine and a care worker from his group home. it can be so nerve racking after hearing the same question around 200 times in an afternoon. hence the klono....and what's funnier is that i've nearly eliminated all stimulants, no nicotine or caffeine. i get tensed up all on my own....

ativan is the fastest acting and has a half life of 16 hours. valium can be 30-60 hours
klonopin is 30-40 hours

The strange thing is, - valium has the longer 1/2 life, but Klonapin seems to have a more stable-sustained action.

valium seems to work fast, but (aside fro teh 1/2 life) - it loses it's "feeling" a lot faster than the Klon.
