I just remembered why I hate the gym

I just have to ask: What kind of training are you doing that you can perform your moves with a cd/MP3 player in your lap, or on the floor, etc...? I'm trying to picture this, and I don't think there's more than maybe 5 things I could do in my gym while toting one of those things.

I've had many a person try to convince me to start wearing a MP3/CD player. But I can't do it. Don't think I'll ever do it. For gawd's sake, Ko (my BF) and I are yelling words of encouragement, form, etc. at each other. And I don't dare go into O-lifting with one of those gadgets....

My MP3 player is so tiny (about the size of a lime) and weighs next to nothing. It has a great arm strap - you never know it's there. It really is an awesome tool. I use it when I work out alone. It prevents people from talking to me - I'm not very social in the gym. It's great for days when I want to lift really heavy and I'm lacking in motivation - heavy metal - it gets me really pumped.
