I started having severe chest pains this morning and Jill, my secretary just took me to the ER and I had a massive Panic Attack.... WTF.... does anyone else have these...I have not had one in years so it was pretty scary....

I get some chest pains once in a while but its mostly gas I believe.. I am only 27 and healthy.

Is your secretary hot?

She is very hot,, shes been by myside all day and finally made me either go with her to the ER or she was calling 911.. She is extremely intelligent and I could not accomplish half of what I do in a days time without her... I would rather have a grandmother that was efficient than a hot body that was an airhead...I run a corporation not a brothel..

I hear you man but my test levels are off the charts so only hot vag is on my mind.

I am under negoiations to obtain 2 additional dealerships so my stress level is extremely high and I know thats what triggered it.. They gave me two shots of Aitavan or something that calmed me down....If you have ever had one you pass out due to the Co2 level being decreased due to increased breathing..

ask them for some Clonozapam (Klonopin) till the shit settles down at the office, problem solved....

or get some sexytime from your secretary when you need to get relaxed...

I Keed, I keed...... (send pics though)

Glad you're ok. I've never understood what panic attacks are.
They are triggered by stress, and it causing uncontrollable shaking, you cannot talk and you breath extremely heavy in which causes the useful CO2 levels that supply oxygen to the brain to escape your body and it causes you to pass out .. I past out 3 times while they where hooking me up to and sticking needles in every orifice in my body..

Whats funny is Jill just brought me home and Im fine however she just took my DTS so I could not go back to the office.. she is a smart girl...........

Ok, so my ex wasn't having panic attacks after all, she was just a needy attention whore bish. I always had a hunch. Anything that didn't go her way, "omg, I'm gonna have a panic attack... memememememmmemmemememmememeemmememe"

Yes I have. I live with severe generalized anxiety...It's not fun... I have attacks in the gym (intense exercise brings mine on) and wonder if I'm gonna make it out alive.. Hopefully yours was just an isolated episode..

Somehow I imagine a phone conversation with Heather would consist of 30 seconds of polite introductions followed by 3 hours of her telling you about the photos she'd show you of Devin if you were actually there.

What kind of mark-up do vehicles have?
I will use my DTS in my profile as an example.

The sticker price of the DTS is $54,500
Now the dealer gets $675.00 for everyone he sells
Now the dealer has whats called Holdback on all vehicles which is usually $2000.00 on a DTS and lower on lower end vehicles..
Now we add whats called dealer pack $750.00 which includes destination, shipping , nitrogen in the tires etc:

this adds up to $3425.00 before the unit hits the lot

Now your salesman sells it for $4000.00 over invoice:

out of the $4000.00 profit

The salesman makes $1200.00
The salesmanager makes $250.00
and I take $100.00 for advertisement out
that leaves $2500.00 additional profit

So now on one vehicle like is in my profile we typically make $5925.00 on the front end

Now if the person finances it through our business office we can make another $5,0000 to $8,000 thru finance interest so the grand total on this vehicle is

$10,950 to $13,000. on a typically unit.. some are more and some are less. I hope that answered your question

Awesome, very good explanation! I'm surprised there isn't more mark up to be honest. In our industry everything is pretty much double. If we paid $3,000 for an elliptical, it retails for around $6,000.

If I'm paying cash for something am I better off not mentioning this until the end? Will it reflect how much the salesman will work with me?

damn. i'm sorry. i'm glad you're better.

Aaaah , the stress of success
But too much of a good thing is still bad...

WOW!! I am glad you are alright. Panic attacks can be scary. Was it like the attacks Tony had on the Sopranos?

we need to go fishing bro, you need me as a personal life trainer if you want to survive.

+1

My first thought is whether you are doing anything other than work! We all need ways to relax and get away from it all. I make it to the gym every day no matter what because it helps me keep the balance. I suffer from anxiety but I manage to keep it under wraps because I've learned to deal with it.

I hope you get better!

Give me a call , I will get you the car you want at true cost/cost to me...When negoiating with a dealer always have finanacing in place before purchasing the vehicle. Never buy any add on in the finance office such as: First place finish, life and accident insurance and GAP insurance. Now let me explain how this works step by step.

The finance manager sells you whats called a protective coating for your vehcile called first place finish for $495.00 our cost $45.00

Now the Finance manager sells you an extended warranty thru JM &A warrantys out of Florida for $2300.00. our cost $230.00

Now the Finance manager tells you your buy rate for your new vehicle is 6.75% for 72 months. We buy the rate from the bank for 5.00 now that does not seem like alot however 90% of cars are financed for 72 months. you do the math at almost a 2% increase in interest compounding daily and that adds up for thousands for the dealership. BTW the banks pay this called the back end (finance) within 48 hours of approval.
Now GAP insurance covers you if you say owe $30,000 for your car however its totalled and the insurance company only wants to cover $24,000. in the claim. GAP insurance picks up the rest so you are not out of pocket. GAP insurance runs the customer 7 per month extra in payments or $795.00.. You can go thru your own insurance company and add a rider to your insurance for $75.00 per year that covers the eact same thing, NOW all of the items just listed are added to the payment which in turn runs your payment up to sometimes over $100.00 a month extra.. Which in turns creates more interest for the dealer .. I have seen Tahoes and Lexuses make over $17,000 in add ons and dealer fees over the course of a 72 month lease. I hope that answers your quesiton

That's nice
It's gotta be hard trying to manage so many people and their issues that you seem to get no time to manage your own life. Sounds like you need somewhat of a vacation.

I hope your stressors stress you no longer. Unfortunately you can only go fishing or take vacations for so long.... At some point you'll need to find solutions to that stress. I hope you find it and can continue because it sounds like you're good at what you do

Did you have carpopedal spasms (involuntary contractions of your hands and feet; your hands will often turn into something grotesque until your calcium level returns to normal -- long story, but trust me on this one)? Did you have numbness around your face?

Very good information, you rule! One of my cars is a SC400 and I love it. I now have over 200,000 miles on it and its never given me any problems. I'll most likely be going Lexus again with my next purchase but I can't say I'm thrilled with the look of the SC430. I'm hoping they'll come out with a different, less compact, look for that series. When the time comes I don't plan on doing any financing, I'd rather just buy it and not worry about monthly car payments. I've been setting money aside in the safe here and there, I call it my 'car cash', last I checked I had a little over 40k. I'm not against the idea of going with a different vehicle, but I'm done getting fucked over by Ford and Chevy. Its Japanese engineering for me here on out.
