Heh am i wrong? Coming from NY...i know exactly how it is. A brownstone in the city would cost you well over a million... harlem for half the price because of the area... though they are just as nice. Have to remember they were all built at the same time (maybe even by the same people)... it's just different people living in that area which makes it cheaper since it's unsafe.

That sounds really put together, Im sure a single guy who knows how to take care of himself would be just fine. How secure is the entrance and your doors and windows, and does the city allow you to own or carry a firearm?

It's on the second floor and there's no way in hell anyone can climb up the deck. The doors and all windows all have alarms. I don't need a firearm, I look like a mean fuck and I have an 85# dog. And I'm a city guy, no one fucks with me.

If I had to buy a house in NYC I would buy in Harlem right near Morningside Heights. If the improvement keeps spreading in a few years you would be living in a pretty rich area.

as long as the place can be secured, you are golden. I would love to find a deal like that myself. Now, how secure is the parking? What about your gun laws?

I honestly don't know about gun laws. Parking is secured behind the building.
