Guys..I've never ever had a problem with acne and now I have a freakin TOOON of zits on my back and shoulders.....not THOSE LITTLE ONES either....the BIG DARK ONES. All over my back. I mean do you guys have any suggestions cuz it's really disgusting looking. :(

Thanks !

Yes. Make sure your ready to deal with it before you even think about using steroids.

That being said, I had the same problem and it sucks ass. Shower frequently (do not use hot water), buy some benzoyl peroxide soap, get a back scrubby thing (don't over scrub), wash your sheets every three days, use some oxy pads, look for some other over the counter meds that may help, see a doctor, get some retin-a (which is really what you need for those big fat suckers deep under the skin), mix up a very weak solution of bleach and water and clean you back with it, see about some antibiotics, etc, etc, etc.

Oh, and try a search.

Try erythromyocin or accutane. I do not think anything else will help this much.
I understand where your coming from considering the nature of his acne - those deeply imbedded big round suckers. However, part of the solution is stopping the before they start. Other methods besides antibiotics and accutane can be used. I think retin-a is one of the best soulutions once you already have those suckers, as it peels the layers of skin away.

Antibiotics and retin-a (along with keeping clean) is probably a good combo here.

acne

i feel your pain. i did a hefty cycle and all of a sudden i was covered with acne all over my back and ESPECIALLY my shoulders.
nothing helped except the ocean. if you are close by i would take advantage of it , it is less expensive than other remedies and you can stare a bikinis allllllll day long. my acne was clear up in 2 days and has not returned since.

shit man that sucks... lol and I was worried about the little ones that u cant really see. I started taking vitamin E and to helped alot.

I'm afraid Durabolin has ruined my complection for the summer. I've never had this bad a problem with acne on the back, I look like I have chicken pox. I've been in the sun a bunch and even started tanning, I'm washing with some acne wash and I think I might try that peroxide soap.

I did some work outside for awile without my shirt on...so the sun was blasting my upper back and shoulder area. This cleared up things for me. Even if sun dosen't make them go away, it'll at least help to hide the discoloration.

Sunlight actually makes them smaller, so it helps a bit. It can also dehydrate your skin and make it much much worse. Use sunlight in moderation and drink a ton of water. Wash yourself frequently and clean your sheets like someone said above.

I think in your situation, the *FASTEST* way to get relief is to use antibiotics. Amoxycillin (sp) seems to work well on acne. It only really makes it smaller, but that will probably make much of it invisible and provide relief for the large ones.

Retin-A will truly not help you very quickly. Retin-A and Accutane work through the same mechanism, which takes a long time to take effect. In fact, it can actually make it worse for a while. Whether you use Retin-A depends on how long your cycle is.

Mind you, I have had severe acne before, but not from gear. Accutane worked well for me, but neither it not Retin-A is a drug with short-term benefits.
