Maybe you can find an adult at a shelter that she gets along with?

I've already checked out the local animal shelters online to see if there's any dogs she'd be compatible with, both age and personality-wise. There's a few, but I'm still undecided as to what to do.
I guess I'm hoping she'll tell me what she wants me to do.
She's moping around pretty bad still, and still hasn't touched her food (she's a little on the chubby side, so I'm not too concerned at this point about her lack of appetite...she'll eat when she gets hungry), and she
finally ventured out to the back yard today, albeit reluctantly. She made potty and b-lined it right back to the door.
I
almost had a game going with her last night, but she just didn't have it in her. At least she's trying.
All in all, I'd say she's coping with this better than I am.
