I have been waiting for a year now for a male brindle great dane. Finally, my breeder has a brindle male puppy and I was going to get to see him in two weeks and bring him home in 8. I just found out today, thay the little guys mother laid on him and squished him.

Damn, now I am so bummed!:bawling:

Bummer! That sucks bro. I cannot imagine a Great Dane shitting all over my lawn though! I want to get a Blackmouth Cur, but they are hard to find. Same dog as ole' Yeller.

Yeah, this breeder won't be breeding until the end of next year.

I had a Great Dane when I was real little. His name was Thor and when my parent divorced we had to move where we couldn't have dogs. :( So, my mom had some friends keep him for us. He jumped over the fence and ran away, probably looking for us. I loved him.

He was so big he used to get into my bed with me at night and with his gigantic paws he would push me onto the floor. I would wake up crying. :D He was sooo cool!!! I loved that dog, there will never be another Thor. :bawling:

I'm sorry Chesty. :(

Sad story, I had to give up my second great dane, Raider, when I got divorced. I balled like a baby.

My Neopolitan Mastiff is Thunder, and my female Great Dane is Athena. I was going to name my brindle Maximus.

Damn, I am just not happy right now.

my dog ran away 5 weeks ago, we're still looking for him :( he was a poodle/maltese/lasa apsis(sp?) mix it was the cutest dog ever! :bawling:

Sorry to hear that. No, I don't mind cause they know who is the master.

I hope by years end I have my brindly puppy.

Thanks for the support.

Yes, I do, I will dig 'em up and post them tomorrow.

Peach, your story about the dog getting into bed with you, then knocking you to the floor is kind of like my biggest fear story. i hope there was no penetration.:p

Yes, they are big! My last male great dane when he stood on his hind legs was about 6 inches or more taller than me and when he growled the house vibrated like an earthquake.

My neo, has a head the size of a basket ball, and weighs around 120 and is only 12 months old. And has a big package to boot.
