I have a question about moving to TJ

This has been bugging me for some time. If I went to San Diego and got a job could I get a place in TJ and cross the border and drive about 20min to work everyday? would I still be able to work in the states if i moved to TJ?

sorry about the stupid question.

what are you stupid?

you want to drink water with bacteria in it for a long time?

just live in the us bring the shit back. I'd rather take the risk of having to pay the fucking fine then live in a shithole like Tijuana.

If you want to live in Mexico go way down south somewhere that's mellow. not some big pisshole.

Yeah, the drive might be 20 minutes, but the wait to cross the border will be about 30 minutes. On Holidays and Weekends, more and if they decide to search you, who knows how long. I wouldn't want to go through that shit everyday, particularly if it could make me late to the J-O-B.

BTW, TJ sucks, I mean it really sucks. Crooked cops, poverty, poor living conditions, unsanitary, overcrowded, crime, hookers & stray dogs everywhere....did I mention how much it sucks there?

Most people I know who live south of the border live in Rosarito. You can buy a mansion on the ocean for $150K! Thats a good deal. My buddy drives a hour to work in north San Diego county and he waits a minimum of an hour at the border. However they know him pretty well so he just cruises thru w/o any searches.

I just got back from San Diego about a week ago. Went to TJ and went to Rosarito to get some gear. Mexico is an alright place to visit but I sure as hell wouldn't want to live there. I think PimpnAintEasy summarized it the best about how it sucks there.

fhg43, yeah you could go down to Rosarito and buy a mansion off of the coast for $150k but you could be like all the American's that were recently evicted from all those mansions that you see on right side will traveling down the that senic hwy (which you have to pay a friggin toll of $2.35 each way!) They were all evicted just recently by the mexican gov. They had 1 hour to grab whatever shit they could and get out.

Where you chose to live is up to you. But once you're out of the good ole US. You seem to lose a lot of your rights.

ok im sorry i just have to say one thing and then this thread should be over.

Tijuana=One of the sleaziest piece of shit towns that smells like urine and is filled with a bunch of dirty hustlers and whores. Why would you want to live there?

End of discussion. Live somewhere nice in san diego unless you're completely stupid.

One more thing. why do you think there are billions of mexican illegals in california? Mexico fucking sucks that's why. Good night.

I was thinking somewhere around TJ. I was thinking Rosarito. Dont worry I already thought about the water thing and the wait at the border would suck. but like the Bull said I like the word LEGAL. I wouldnt really like to make trips there all the time and take the changes of getting caught by costums

im id rather take the risk of getting busted then live in mexico. I hope i'm not the only one.

How funny would it be if all the mexicans left and we went down there and turned it into a good country while they fucked ours up. Then they immigrate backand the cycle continues. Holding up the rest of the world with the other shit countries.

Can you imagine how often your car would get broken into, you would get mugged, robbed, maybe even killed. The cops might want to just take your car. What could you do?? it happened to one of my friends he went partying was getting in his car all drunk and they said he was under arrest they towed his car. He was released the next morning without his car. He will never see it again.
If you want roids so bad move to a different country but a halfway civilized country.
Or better yet get a chemical engineering degree and just make your own shit.

i was thinking the same damn thing. just think how far the US dollar goes down there. like they said, you can buy a mansion for 150K. about the water, just go to costco or sams club and buy bottled water in bulk.

Something like 20,000 people do it everyday, cross over work, then go back to mexico for the evening!

You can filter water-duh!

All you need is several pallets with some cardboard and staples and you could build your house.

It would be an adventure. It is dangerous, so you would have to know how to handle yourself.

You should go further south and rent a place. You could live in it for several months out of the year.

The Mexican government is known for seizing property, so don't buy.

okay, call me slow, but i'm not up to date on the mexican govt and them seizing property. why do they do this?

The Good Life... Last time I heard that was in Neb. My friends in Neb. were shocked when they visited a state with many people of ethnicity.

Some of the best people I know are Mexican, too bad my Neb. friends are blind to see the value of that culture.

People in poverty are people with nothing to loose.

Why Don't you just drive across when you want to inject. Then you only have to go over 2 or 3 times a week, it will still be legal, and you can live in America. I am sure you can find someplace to store stuff if you want to buy something in a larger bottle. If you want to take orals go 3 times a week and take some while you are there and bring just enough back for the next day. They will never find 4 or 5 pills unless you are the unluckiest person in the world.

This is the same guy saying he wants to move to Tj remember?

Oh and to the guy who posted the lah dee dah shit about some of the best people are mexicans. Let me tell you something.

I've lived in California my whole life. Been to TJ maybe 30 times. I know what it's like. Prostitution is legal there and they have hotels all in back alleys and shit. You want to live there have fun. Youll come back one day all bloated on some shit ttokyo products with hiv from some shemale tijuana whore. and the federales will take all your money. people cook rat heads and sell it to you on the street. i mean its filthy down there. come on who has been there back me up.

You must be young,or never been to TJ!!-Maybe both...Why the hell would ANY American want to move there...to get juice???? You would get robbed on a regular.Tell me this is a joke

Good Life- I've been there also and would not want to live there. The Mexicans I know say it is not a good place to live.
You do sound pretty racist whether you mean it or not, but to each their own.
I won't loose a bit of sleep over it, as I am sure you won't:o

This is an interesting post. I am planning to moving to either southern Cal, or a town in Mexico close to the border. All I can say is to go and see for yourself, and then make an educated decision. That is what I am going to do.

Im going to san diego in 3 weeks and was thinking about going across the border and giving it a try...but after reading this shit i dont know if i want to even go anywhere close to mexico.....fuck TJ id rather pay the high prices...and not have to deal with hookers.....i give in too easy....

Live in TJ?

Fuck that! Just being there for more than a couple hours starts to wear on you. If you lived there you'd be a 3rd class citizen. If you was on fire the people wouldn't piss on you to put it out.

Foreigners cannot own land in MX, so you lease the land on which your house sits from their lovely govt. Apparantly, they can take your home if they decide to reclaim their land for any reason. Time share, or buying a condo would probably be a better way to go IMO.
