i call the other county, they refer me back to the origonal county.

then they refer me back to the other county when i call.

so now i'm about to call them and get referred back to yet ANOTHER county.

and another one....

been trying to get ahold of a lawyer for, oh, all this week. they claim my grandmother owes one of their clients some money. i'm merely trying to find out exactly what for so i can take care of the situation. i mean, come on, i don't just mail off checks to anyone for anything.

4 phone calls from me, 1 return phone call from him. this last phone call they said "he's on vacation until Thursday." i said "oh, gee, well that really sucks then, because i'm about to fully secure my grandmother's money at which point a debt like this could NOT be paid back and the money would be untouchable for anything except her living expenses, so you tell me what to do."

an assistant called me back within 10 minutes to schedule a phone meeting with him next Thursday morning. i knew that'd work to finally get something done.
