Let me run this thru EF..
This morning I get a call from HR telling me I need to come down and sign off on one of my employees termenation.
When I ask them Y I need to sign off on it, being that I am not in favor of it they tell me My Boss said that this was my intent and my action.
Now I hold a fairly high postion in the Fed Gov. so going up against my boss is kind of a bad idea. But if this employee decides to fight this action then I will be the one that faces him in court. He has been on paid leave for about 10 weeks. And during this time I have told him I would do what I could to help him. This letter makes me out to be the one that in fact is doing the fireing. " NOT THE CASE"
All this is over a cup of coffee, a man will lose a 35thou dollar a year job.
He told another one of my employees that if he did'nt pay for the coffee he could not have any. This turned into a little back n fourth just words, and the employee that this letter refers to decided he would invite the other outside to settle it. Well mr coffee drinker got a little upset and called Cap Police and they arrested him on a veb threat.
So n the end he got 4 mth probation and one night in jail.
And now after all this BS I got to let him go , or I can stand up for him and tank my job?? I'm a GS 13 so I do about 105grand a year.
And the real fucked up thing is I was in Boston when all this took place. So I was not even there the day these two fuck could'nt act like grown up people.
