my car that i drive has never had any problems, never. it's run perfect for the year that i'v owned it. so I take it in to get the oil changed the other day and they said they would check everything out on the car for free, I said yeah sure go ahead. two days later my car is running like shit, keeps on dying at idle and the idle goes way up, then down and then dies. coincidence? I think not. I took it to Midas by the way

another time i took my car into a auto repair place to get the Anti-freeze flushed. I pick my car up and there are 16 miles put on it WTF?

They fucked with your spark plugs.

They do that often so you return to have the mysterious catch-all problem fixed.

Go to a reputable (and dependable) mechanic to take a look at the spark plugs, cables and the distributer.

And another thing....change your own oil.

I have been changing my own oil since I was 14.

yeah I used to back home. I had a friend who owned his own shop with lifts. but I got sick of doing it, would rather pay $25 bucks instead $14 or something and doing it myself.

yeah i think i'm going to put one of them grease monkey suits on and a hard hat next time i take my car in, and just watch em with a note pad, and act like i'm writing stuff down:lmao:

Even though I know enough about cars to get in life (and I also change my own oil..) I still have a guy take my jeep into the shop when it needs to get fixed. Last week, I broke a tie rod on the front wheel, when I got an estimate on how much the repair would cost it was $110 more than when I had a male friend take it in.

I am an easy target when it comes to getting "snowballed" and unfortunately gullible enough too... :(
