I had tracers this morning

I'm currently on Clomid and I know this is a side effect and possibley a perment one. Would it be ok to switch to Nolvadex at this point? I'm about 1 week into my therapy.

I'm almost afraid to ask...but what are tracers??
It was really weird. At first I thought I had a cat hair in my eye, but then as I looked around the room I could see black lines sort of in my peripheral vision. It was very strange, but went away within a few seconds.

Tracers are a form of visual disturbance often associated with the use of clomid.

LC, are you talking in terms of recovery or in terms of side effects...maybe both?

Bros, I've had them bad. They didn't go away till months after I was off the clomid. It sucks. I think my eyes still hurt more than they used to since I was on the clomid. Clomid sucks. I'd switch to nolvadex asap.

God, I hate that shit -- not for for human consumption IMO

Sure, you could switch, but are you sure you really need it? Can you get a hold of some proviron? Proviron, chrysin and calciun d glucerate should give more than enough e blockage unless the cycle was crazy. If you're super prone to gyno, go with the nolva or a-dex.

ohh man, You just described something I've had for a good 6 months already. Around March, same time I took clomid, I began seeing specks in the corner of my eye only against a light background (ex: the sky, my wall, a shiny area) Well, to this day they are all over my eyes, but I only really see a big one on the left side. My eye doc said my eyes are fine so i'm hoping they will go away. I'm learning to live with it but God damn its annoying.

Definiteyl drop that shit ASAP... I've got tracers still from Clomid use a year ago.

you think they'll eventually fade away? Damn a year.... have you gotten use to them?

ive used clomid before and gotten tracers, and its happening again. It went away before, will i be so lucky again?

First time I used it, I got tracers and they went away. Second time I tried clomid was about 5 months ago and the tracers are just now starting to fade. Nelsons right, clomid SUCKS for more reasons than just the tracers. I'll never use it again and will never recomend it.

Finally a thread where others have had MAJOR problems and its discussed. When I took clomid for the first time I had never heard of the tracer problem, then when I did hear about it I never heard it could be potentially permanent.

Again - It took months after I stopped taking clomid for the tracers to go away. My eyes still don't feel quite right.

If you decide to use clomid, I strongly suggest discontinuing at the first sign of tracers. Your eyes are nothing to fuck with....

I've used clomid after 4 cycles. Always get tracers, and they ALWAYS fade away as soon as I stop the clomid.

Does anyone actually know anyone personally who experiences permanently tracers after using clomid? No flame, but it sounds like a steroid myth to me.

If anyone's got any articles, I love to see them. Thanks.

Articles?? Bro - did you read all the posts?? You've got actual users with tracers way after they discontinued clomid that just posted on this thread. I'm one of them. I don't need a fucking article to tell me anything, I was "seeing" it every night....

Recovery wise.

I didn't have any problems with clomid except for tracers.. but that is a big problem so i've actually gone with a combination plan lately.

50mg of clomid before i go to bed and
20mg of nolva for 10 days

then
20mg of nolva for another 10

Works for me.

More bad news; I have also experienced those tracers with Clomid so the following post-cycle recovery was done with Nolva... tracers galore!!! And they seemed to stay with me longer than the Clomid-induced ones! Go figure

if you get tracers it mean they have changed something in the Matrix.

I wouldn't worry about it.......

HOLY SHIT!
I've never heard of anyone getting any REAL side affect ever.
Besides zits and high blood press.
It seems it is the aux drugs that do the most damage.
Noone was dying in the 80's
Now cytradren, beauco clen dosages, dnp, high dosages of slin, and various anticats that we don't even know of.
Believe me pros do have a secret but that secret is literually killing them.
bleeding ulcers, common lately.
I think a guy could run gear and never have any real side affects.
Just don't get carried away with doing anything for size and cuts.
ANYTHING that is causing REAL side effects STOP IMMEDIATELY!
Period.

Nolvadex is bad for the eyes too

Effects on the Eye: Ocular disturbances, including corneal changes, decrement in color
vision perception, retinal vein thrombosis, and retinopathy have been reported in patients
receiving NOLVADEX. An increased incidence of cataracts and the need for cataract
surgery have been reported in patients receiving NOLVADEX.
In the NSABP P-1 trial, an increased risk of borderline significance of developing
cataracts among those women without cataracts at baseline (540-NOLVADEX; 483-
placebo; RR=1.13, 95% CI: 1.00-1.28) was observed. Among these same women,
NOLVADEX was associated with an increased risk of having cataract surgery (101-
NOLVADEX; 63-placebo; RR=1.62, 95% CI 1.18-2.22) (See Table 3 in CLINICAL
PHARMACOLOGY). Among all women on the trial (with or without cataracts at
baseline), NOLVADEX was associated with an increased risk of having cataract surgery
(201-NOLVADEX; 129-placebo; RR=1.58, 95% CI 1.26-1.97). Eye examinations were
not required during the study. No other conclusions regarding non-cataract ophthalmic
events can be made.

I fucking hope so.

They have faded substantially, but they're still here. Mainly, when I go from a dark room to a well-lit room. It's sort of freaky, really. Tonight after I saw a movie I noticed they were in full-effect.

Whenever I was on the clomid, it was always when I went from a dark room to a light room that it was the worst...

as far as I knnow they don't go away, I've had mine for 6+ years.......course mine are lsd, shroomie side effects.....but I figure its the same thing.......I also see permanent patterns and multi colours everywhere.......ya get used to it. But tracers are a bitch, fighting is weird lol
