After being off avena sativa for 10 days, I couldn't take it anymore. I really felt a difference. I now believe that avena is as important as my HRT. So I decided to give the PF avena product a try. Sure enough, after days of waking up with weak or no erections I had a baseball bat between my legs this morning. I even decided to roll the wife over and give her a good morning howdoyado. I'm not sure if she was actually awake for any of it, but I think she liked it.

Haven't done the blood test on it yet. The problem is, I need to go a month without it, and that's going to be tough. Someone here did a before and after BT and it did show a cosiderable rise in Free T. For now I using the "boner-gauge" exclusvely.

Sofa has said that a specific avena that was around a few years back was very potent and nothing else compares. For the most part I agree. A lot of avena I've taken has sucked ass. But the BAC which had the active avinacosides did the trick. It also passed the "Sofa test", in that it gets sticky when it dries.

There may never be anything that compares to the original Avena, (which was fucking amazing), but there's some stuff that is certainly effective. That's why I wanted to make sure the protein factory product was good, and to their credit, they do mention the avenacoside count. I believe only BAC , Unleashed and and Tribex has the avenacoside % listed. But the Tribex is out of the question price wise. The BAC or PF is half the price.
 
Nelson, that makes sense... I think with my HRT situation, I may as well give it a try too... Haven't checked into PF's product, but I know BAC's is dirt cheap... From your experience, what type of active life would you guess it has? (I know this is purely conjecture).

are you saying Tribex is a good brand, just too expensive? or are you saying it's too expensive and you don't know about it or it just outright sucks?

ndr: I just looked this up. Tribex uses 2% avenacosides. BAC and protein factory use 7%
Since BAC is a powder there's no dosage but if Tribex is 1000mgs at 2% and Unleashed is 500 mgs at 7%, then Unleashed is still almost twice as strong, cheaper and it has other stuff as well. Call me crazy but I would also never support a supplement company that sells myostatin -- the biggest scam of all time, and they knew it.


Machine: I have no idea of the active life of Avena. I'd guess around 24 hours.
 
I have been off cycle for 6 weeks and have added Avena Sativa and Maca to my post cycle regiment without clomid. The Avena is making me crazy, labido is rediculasly high, worse than when on test. The intensity of pleasure is dramitically higher. Its just having a woody 24 hours a day is annoying, in fact the wife is asking me what is going on. The Avena Sativa I am using is by "Vogel" a Swiss made product.
 
Nelson, I've got to give you props for that one. Your post are always so serious... that was some funny shit.
 
I use BAC's avena and it's great stuff that's very inexpensive. Most of you guys drink protein shakes, as I do, and I don't even taste it. I take a spoonful (the dosage spoon is included) morning and night. Major morning boners.

I'm real easy to convince. Just show me a couple blood tests that show a decrease in SHBG.

I've been studying avena sativa since about 1995... and to date I've only seen one substance that affected SHBG. Unfortunately, that substance isn't what BAC and the others put in their caps.

If a couple blood tests can be produced... I'd be impressed.

where can i get good quality avena???? BAC wont ship to canada and thats where i am. and i cant find it on protein factory;s web site. help a canadian out
