My dad was an abusive drunk when I was a kid. It wasn't until I was an adult that I got to learn what a great man he was, mainly because he was sober and I was a lot bigger than he was lol. He became my best friend ever though, may he rest in peace.

i applaud my parents for thejob they did. i put them through hell growing up and they stood by my side through it all. cherish he times together like you have. make sure you tell people how you feel because one day you may never get that chance and its too late. you should never have to say "i should have" but instead you should say "im glad i did".
