Ph.D.. I don't see myself teaching. I think I will stick to clinicial, in an applied field. I'm more of a functionalist.. I believe personalities change all throughout your life, I.E. maturity, and I believe that can be conditioned to be changed

I have a master's which licenses me to be a therapist. I am also licensed to be a drug and alcohol abuse counSELOR!

The Ph.D is just an addition to that but in a different field

I'm not familiar with Axis II Dx.. if by Axis II you are referring to personality traits I believe to an extent someone can be treated.. Personality is formed throughout our whole lives, although some are almost permenantly formed through a tramautic event, I think almost all can be molded into something society views as "ok." Mostly what I deal with or have dealt with in my short stint of work is PPD (paranoid personality disorder) and anxiety. I don't go too deep into disorders as of yet since I don't have a declared field of study just yet.
