So even though the book I ordered has not been shipped out yet they won't let me cancel my order. I don't know what the fuck to do. Dealing with them and trying to use their procedures is a waste of time. What if I write return to sender? Would going to the bank help? I actually put the wrong billing address, can this help me out. (different from my debitcard) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go online and do a return. They supply a preprinted UPS or USPS label. Slap it on and in about a week they will credit you.

I use Amazon all the time. Only things that they've postponed delivery on are things that aren't books or software (stuff they order from other people like tools, etc.). Even then, Only ever had to wait twice.

They let you cancel unless the order is being "processed" by their warehouse. Then you can't cancel it. It's really no problem to a) go online and print out a return to sender label or b) open the box, get the enclosed return label, and reseal the box.

As you can see, We`re all dealing with them, But what do you say about my ladder that I ordered in OCTOBER? They sent me an E-Mail saying it won`t come until December. I bought it in October as a gift for a friend that helped me out (working on my house) He mentioned the ladder and I told him "Don`t buy it, I`ll get it for you" lol Now I keep telling him "It`s still not delivered" lol

Now they sent me another E-Mail saying it`s delayed Yet AGAIN. lol

So I should just keep taking their BS or in your words be a "delinquent"?

Should I wait until January to give my friend the ladder I told him not to buy because I would get it for him? From October!!!

bro, how funny could it be? It was stupid mistake that has nothing to do with any of my problems, its not like i injected liquidex or something. The whole site is confusing and dishonest. Thanks for all the help though from everyone else.

This is where they contradicted themselves and proved they are fucking scumbags. One second they tell me my book will not going out for delivery for two days(ordered the night before thanksgiving) , then an hour later when I tried to cancel my order the button i was to click on did not work because they said the shipping process had already begun. Also, my account was not charged until today (friday). Obvious scam

They scammed me once. I pre-ordered X-File season whatever at $69.99. I then got an e-mail that said it was backordered and not likely to be coming any time soon the day it was released. So, I cancelled the order only to see it back up on Amazon a few days later for $99.00.

GL, I waited for 3 months for a frying pan. Oh, well. Considering how many times I have ordered from them and gotten things earlier than expected, they're still in the winning percentage.

I guess you could buy the ladder and cancel the order. Or, maybe it'll come before Christmas and you can put a big red ribbon around it.

They don't charge you until the item ships (that's the same with any catalog).

Rtemple, you ordered it at a sale price and cancelled. Later you saw the regular price posted.

With their free shipping policy on $25 + orders, they're generally cheaper than buying stuff locally. Honest, I have never had a problem with them. Sorry to hear others have.
