i finally did it

i got my comp working....i am so excited!
thanks to alot of help it was my ethernet card that was bad and also that i needed to install my internet user software(verizon) on this puter too...soon i will upgrade to XP thanks to bigmann245 and prittykitty

i have spent a week trying to get this damn thing to work. i was getting pissed and said if i didnt get it working today i was getting a new comp....well it was easy to get working..i was shocked....i kept thinking i had to network even though the guy who sold me the router said all i have to dso is plug it in....internet explorer wasnt set to verizon and so on...so all i did was re boot my verizon disc in the comp and it works, if i knew this last week i would have been much happier.......AND i am not doing the dishes!
