i don't have a fucking car anymore - one hell of a fucking rant, might be long

i have always been a responsible gun owner and will continue to be. i may get pretty pissed off and want to go shoot people, but then if i ever got out of jail i wouldn't be allowed to own guns again. it's gotta be really worth it, IMO.

i'm trying to look at the bright side of things here.....

going to have a lot more money per month, so we can actually save some cash for once. yeah, we're getting our $1600 downpayment back, but i want to get some bodywork done to her Civic, i've got to get some parts for my Blazer, and i want an AK-47 as well as some more Makarov ammo (i'm almost out).

so excluding xmas shopping, i think we can have about $1500 saved up by March. combine that with our tax return (i really love EIC), and we'll have around $5-6K for a car. that'd either be one hefty downpayment if we can get honest decent financing or i can go buy something mid-90s that's going to last me a few years.

at least that's the plan. i fucking hope this works out this time.

i think i'm going 4-wheeling on Sunday :chomp:
Smart man.

This happens quite often. They give you the car without having the loan go through and we it doesn't the car has to be returned. I've seen it at least 3 times. But the bright side is you drove the car for a month for free.

Sucks bro. What was the percentage rate? Anybody will give you a loan for a certain (high) rate.

I`d take Pitbull`s offer. I have a feeling he won`t let you down.

There are used car dealers everywhere that specialize in selling cars to people with no credit.
You basically "rent-to-own". You don't get final title till the last payment is made.
The car price may be a little higher, but: 1) you get a car 2) you build up credit.

Without giving away too much info, the bank that turned it down specializes in little/no/bad credit risk...... I'm very surprised they turned it down....

whole new mother fucking turn of events going on here. i'm not even discussing it right now.

Chef Wide - damn straight!

Wodin - not sure which part of my post you're referring to, but i take your comment as a compliment. thanks.

ok, well, there's some OK news and some bad news.

the bad news is i'm not buying an AK-47 any time soon that i can forsee :( :bawling: :bawling: :bawling:

the deal, as it stands right now, is this....the loan is in her name, my name will be no where near it. she's been working on her credit for the past year and making an effort whereas while i've got 2 paid off loans, but the last loan was paid off over 3 years ago and i also have a charged off credit card (i fucked up, oh well). so while my loans were on time every time and the credit card is charged off, i have "no" credit. no one wants to finance me because while i do have an income, i don't have a "job." fuck them. my income is coming to me because i served my country for 4 years and i'm now advancing my education.

she's considered "high risk" right now still, but the bank is more than willing to work with her. payments/interest/duration of loan havn't changed one bit. the finance manager was apologizing to her profusely over the whole thing because there were some screwups on their end that made this past week a big load of bullshit. she was told that once she has paid on the loan on time for 6 months, they'll be more than willing to refinance as well as put me on as a co-buyer so i can make a positive impact on my credit. that should work out, and the money from our tax return will go into refiancing to drop what we owe significantly. that was our origonal plan anyway, use tax return money every year to make large payments on the loan in addition to our monthly payments. still a smart thing to do because there's no penalty for early payoff.

so that's what's up now. now i get to work on putting the 400watt stereo in the Civic and try to sell the Blazer again.

i'm praying my clutch holds up after the past day :worried: don't ask.

i also know that i'm gonna need about 5 miles of road to max that car out speed wise. that i would've found out eventually though ;)

See my PM re: the amortization schedule, per diem re: interest and how "upside down" you may be.........etc...

yeah, i've heard of that upside down shit before and all that. we've got some time, we'll get it figured out when we're ready to refinance.

you kick ass Jen.

A. There's a lot in your town that will finance you, period.
B. If A. Fails, let me know when you have your $5500-6K, drive down, and I'll find you a nice 2000 Civic, with 50K miles for that price all day long.

C. I hate to see a good man down.

pitbull, you're a good man for making an offer like that. hope you and the house of estrogen are all doing well ;)
