OK, I'm 30 years old and got the bright idea that I was going to see if I could still kick a football. I went out to a baseball field and did some practice kicks against the backstop. Now I have some sort of cramp in my calf on my kicking leg. It doesn't hurt at all but I can't pull my foot upwards with the calf muscle. I can't flex the calf either. I can point my foot downwards and can only slightly move it from side to side. What the hell did I do? It feels tight like a cramp only there is no pain. Any ideas on what happened?
BTW it looks like I'm only good for an extra point these days. I'm going to try on a real football field when this leg gets better. I'd like to at least be able to hit a 30 yarder.
